With over 30 years of experience providing architectural consulting services to residential, industrial, commercial and religious and civic organizations as an owner’s representative and a private architect. He has the ability to plan and coordinate all phases of architectural projects from conceptualization to requirements through planning, design and final construction with extensive experience with multi-million dollar projects.  His experience also includes the ability to prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, managing design teams, reviewing submissions, conduct zoning and building code analysis and preparing and negotiating client contracts all while managing the project's resources to fit within the budget of his clients. JD takes pride in exceeding the client's project expectations.

Wendy’s Tampa International Airport

Restaurant installation in the food court, part of a multi-billion dollar renovation at the Tampa International Airport partnered with

HMS Host and Bridgeman Foods.  Project involvement: Kickoff meetings, preliminary design and construction documents.

Prototype Redesign and Value Engineering

Detail and scope analysis, ordering cost and vendor selection for project scope requirements.  Reduced the construction budget cost

from approximately $480,000 to $220,000 per site.

Wendy’s Image Activation & Refresh Program

Multiple Restaurant project scheduled for 25 locations per year for an 8-year duration.  Scope of work entailed: field documentation of

existing conditions, working with company management to define scope and schedule of planned work for each restaurant,

adaptation   of Wendy’s International design intent to fit the site specific conditions, design submittals to W.I., creation of construction

document,  product and equipment ordering, P.R. and advertising coordination, restaurant staffing coordination, invoicing approvals,

organized and lead staff and contractor meetings, general contractor coordination, construction management, onsite inspections,

quality control and project closeout.
